// ABOUT THE PROJECT //
Our client is seeking to improve their user engagement and retention and to invest more in this area to become the number one marketplace for mobility in Europe. Hence, they are building a new team and looking for a Freelance Junior Product Owner with experience in Mobile Apps, E-Commerce or Marketplace.
// YOUR TASKS //
As a Junior Product Owner, you will be responsible for the further development of our client’s User Engagement and Retention department. Using agile methodologies, you will further enhance the customer experience with the Head of Product, according to the highest customer and business impact.
You work hand in hand with the stakeholders and Product Owners of other departments and collaborate with other teams such as SEO, UX and Data Analytics to design personal and emotional shopping and service experiences for our client’s customers. You manage the product backlog and inspire your developer team with clearly structured Epics and User Stories.
- You are the Product Owner responsible for the engagement and retention strategies of our client, which means:
- Improve and further develop of measures to encourage returning users.
- Take action to increase engagement and grow our client’s loyal customer base.
- Manage multiple stakeholder requirements across all departments and prioritize your backlog based on business value and effort.
- Keep systems up and running, ensuring they are state of the art and able to meet new business, IT, legal and market trends.
- Keep high quality standards with combined technical and functional knowledge.
- Promote rapid deployment through your agile development team so that end users can benefit from early releases, best user experience and quick optimizations.
- Define relevant KPIs and monitore their performance over time.
// THIS IS YOU //
- You have at least 2 years of experience as Product Owner, ideally with a focus on e-Commerce.
- You have supported a B2C application as a business analyst or in the role of a Product Owner (conception, Go Live, further development).
- You can share hands-on experiences of how you successfully developed retention and user engagement for an e-commerce company.
- You have experience in data analytics and increasing conversion rates, reviews or other KPIs
- You bring excellent written and spoken English skills, German is a plus.
Nice to have
- You have experience in E-Commerce, ideally in the e-commerce marketplace sector.
- User-centricity and great passion for the automotive sector are your hallmarks.
- Discovery and delivery are equally important to you and you are familiar with the corresponding approaches.
- You are an agile- and eager-to-learn-team-player who strives for continuous improvement with a high level of performance commitment.
- You bring good German skills.
