Fullstack Typescript/Node.JS Developer (f/m/d)

Our client brings together millions of bike aficionados around the world for cycling purchases, with over 600,000 products available. With a global audience of consumers reaching 29.1 million site visits per year, our client enables cycling retailers and brands through its technology product suite, functionality and platform.

They are looking for a Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) in an interdisciplinary and self-organized global remote team, who will bring their diverse experience and further develop their e-commerce platform with serverless technologies. Our client works collaboratively and customer-centric in the continuous improvement of their products.

// YOUR TASKS //

• You work on new product features
• You will develop libraries and shared code for cross-service usage and contribute to the maturity of our development platform and developer experience.
• You build it, you run it: infrastructure, deployment and operation of your code are part of your job, using modern principles and cloud services (Infrastructure as Code, AWS CDK).
• Your clean, well-tested and documented code contributes to the long-term maintenance of the entire system.
• Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate on architectural decisions.
• You will work with junior developers and help them achieve their delivery and “clean code” goals.

// ABOUT YOU //

• Very good knowledge and at least 3 years of experience in full-stack development with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience in the AWS ecosystem, ideally with AWS Lambda and Serverless.
• Ideally, you have experience with various Domain Driven Design methods.
• Good knowledge of database technologies (SQL, ideally NoSQL).
• Experience with messaging, event-driven architectures and event provisioning.
• Experience in agile working environments.
• Independent working style and hands-on mentality.
• Excellent communication skills in an international, intercontinental, and remote environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adopt different perspectives and “flying heights”.
