// ABOUT THE PROJECT //

Our client is one of the major European online retailers for sportswear and continues to grow.

Possible core projects of this renewal are the selection, new creation and/or implementation of systems such as storefronts (web stores), trading platform, PIM system, DAM system, marketplace software, CRM systems (CDP/CEP), OMS system, etc.

// YOUR TASKS //

Therefore, we are looking for an e-commerce solution architect to take care of the following main tasks:

• Strategically define our complex, customer-centric, and business-focused system landscape of the future to ensure competitive advantage in a fast-paced and agile world.
• Evaluation and selection of new technological components (platforms, technology stacks and frameworks).
• Review, document and analyze the existing system landscape.
• Discover gaps and define priorities from an architectural perspective.
• Define holistic technical standards and best practices to ensure uniform quality and
  Ensure maintainability of digital products and stability (e.g. API design, architecture patterns, code quality, etc.).

// THAT’S YOU //

• College degree in e-commerce, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in e-commerce, including market knowledge, technical best practices and trends.
• Comprehensive understanding of (multi-) platform orchestration and administration as well as API management and security.
• Ability to work in agile and waterfall projects Experience in the sports industry.
• Innovative spirit within your area of responsibility and beyond.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (Atlassian, Jira, Confluence).
• Language: Fluent in English (oral & written).
