For our client we are looking for a Senior Developer Magento 2:

Our client is a leading online lighting player in Europe that aims to offer its clientele an inspiring and personalized shopping experience with a wide online selection and a strong customer focus. To achieve this, more than 500 employees from over 30 nations work successfully along the entire value chain.

At our client, as a Senior Developer Magento 2, you will co-develop the next generation of their e-commerce platform and be responsible together with the team for one of the main components such as Checkout, Search & Catalog, Recommendations, Customer Account or Content Management.

// YOUR TASK //

• Design, development and maintenance of the e-commerce platform based on Magento 2
• Develop new features, measure impact, and improve based on lessons learned.
• Optimizing performance and load times, configuring and testing Magento extensions, applying security updates, fixing compatibility issues between different browsers, participating in code reviews and scrum meetings.
• Leverage advanced technologies and public cloud infrastructures to build highly available systems that can scale to millions of customers on demand
• Collaborate with various internal and external teams to integrate and share knowledge to achieve optimal results

// THAT’S YOU //

• 5+ years of hands-on experience [Must] as a Software Developer / Software Architect
• Good communication skills in English (German language skills are an add-on)
• Advanced knowledge of Magento 2 [Must], PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS and MySQL as well as common development tools such as Git, Jira and Confluence
• Good knowledge of the Magento MySQL database design [Must]
• Ability to debug and optimize code
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Know the value of applying best practices and software design patterns, performing code reviews, ensuring SOLID principles are followed, and writing automated tests
• Experience with concepts such as monitoring, CI/CD, containers (Docker & Kubernetes) and related tools.
• Strong problem solving skills with a passion for observability and reliability
• Magento or Adobe Commerce certification is a plus
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics, SEO and A/B testing is a plus.
